Neal Lano, the senior member of the firm, was raised in Long Prairie, Minnesota.  A World War II veteran, he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1950.  He has been a member of this firm and its predecessors since 1953.

 

Neal has tried many cases throughout Northern Minnesota and had been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association.  In recognition of his experience and reputation, he is increasingly called upon to act as arbitrator as the use of alternative dispute resolution grows.  He also practices in the fields of estate planning, probate and real estate.
